A delegation of officials from the poverty-stricken Jiujiang Sub-district in Songtao Miao autonomous county, Southwest China’s Guizhou province visited SIP’s Shengpu Sub-district on Aug 5, hoping to learn experience for administrative management. Zhang Wenfei, deputy secretary of Jiujiang Sub-district Party Working Committee, led the delegation.

At a symposium with local officials, Zhang gave an introduction to Jiujiang Sub-district authorities’ efforts and challenges in poverty alleviation, and expressed thanks to SIP and Shengpu Sub-district authorities for their assistance in the aspect. Shengpu Sub-district authorities promised to offer Jiujiang Sub-district more support in the future.

 

The officials also visited Langhuayuan Community which launched a program early this year to give its assistance counterpart Maoyan Community in Jiujiang Sub-district a helping hand in its development. They gained a holistic picture of the community’s development at its one-stop service center, and discussed cooperation with local officials at the meeting later.
