SIP released the SIP Action Plan for Business Environment Optimization (also called “30 Business Service Policies”) on July 26, in a move to better services for enterprises in the area.

The action plan includes 30 policies designed to improve local administrative services to save businesses time and cost in their operations and help them pursue continuous growth. For example, one of the policies features a package of integrated services that will allow a new business to go through all procedures for its opening in SIP within one workday, while others will give businesses a leg up in financing and talent introduction.
“We have made the policies partly based on the central government’s instructions on optimization of business environment and the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index, and partly based on the needs of local enterprises and their employees,” said Zhu Yunlei, deputy director of SIP Economic Development Committee.
The English version of the action plan was released concurrently for the convenience of foreign investors and business operators.
