A group of officials from Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BETDA), a state-level economic and technological development zone and high-tech park in Yizhuang, Beijing, had a tour around SIP from July 14 to 15, hoping to learn experience from SIP for better governance and operation of BETDA. BETDA Party Working Committee Secretary Wang Shaofeng led the delegation.

Accompanied by a number of local officials including SIP Party Working Committee Secretary Wu Qingwen and SIP Administrative Committee Director Ding Lixin, the guests visited SIP Exhibition Center, BioBay, Nanopolis Suzhou, Jingcheng Neighborhood Center and Positec Machinery (China) Co Ltd, where they gained an all-around understanding of SIP’s economic and social development, industrial ecosystem, business incubation and support programs and administrative services.

At the symposium on July 15, the guests and the local officials discussed possibilities for future exchange and cooperation between the two zones.
