Sabri Tunc Angili, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Shanghai, and his contingent paid a visit to SIP on May 7, hoping to learn experience for industrial park management and seek cooperation opportunities. 

The Turkish guests first visited SIP Exhibition Center where they gained a holistic picture of SIP’s profile covering its location advantages, evolution trajectory, operation mechanisms and public service projects. They also discussed with local officials details about establishing a service network based on China’s Belt and Road Initiative that is designed to connect the East Asian and European economic circles for win-win cooperation.

Then they visited Renmin University of China Silk Road School which, founded last May, offers a full-time master program for students from countries and regions covered by the Belt and Road Initiative. In the school, they listened to an introduction to the school’s development and talent cultivation programs, and discussed cooperation plans with the school’s representatives.
