Suzhou government recently released Several Measures to Accelerate High-quality Development of Biomedicine Industry in Suzhou (hereafter referred to as the Measures) which is expected to help further stimulate vitality in biomedicine sector.

According to the Measures, the city government provides subsidies and rewards ranging from RMB 1 to 20 million to eligible biomedicine businesses, professionals and projects along with green channels for registration of innovative drugs and medical equipment to lend biomedicine companies a hand in bringing their products to market and going public.

Moreover, the Measures includes policy support for new medical research institutes and service platforms that can help form an integrated biomedicine industry chain covering research and development, production and marketing of biomedical products.

It is disclosed that the city government will host an event later to expound on the Measures and relevant government policies to local biomedicine enterprises.
