A team of officials from Suqian, a city in north Jiangsu province, visited SIP on Apr 18 to learn experience for the development of Suzhou-Suqian Industrial Park (SSIP), a comprehensive industrial zone jointly developed by Suzhou and Suqian governments in the city following SIP’s example. 

The officials, including CPC Suqian Committee Secretary Zhang Aijun and mayor Wang Hao, first toured around SIP Exhibition Center where they gained a better understanding of SIP’s economic development, industrial layout, science and technology innovation, urbanization and services concerning people’s livelihood. 

After that, the visitors attended a meeting with CPC Suzhou Committee Secretary Zhou Naixiang and mayor Li Yaping and other local officials. 

At the meeting, Zhang gave the participants a detailed account of SSIP’s evolution trajectory since its founding 13 years ago, and unveiled a series of plans for its future development. Zhou promised on behalf of Suzhou government and SIP authorities to enhance support for SSIP.
