Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone (CETDZ) in Central China's Hunan province recently wrapped up a project that consists of one digital archive, two enterprise databases and one public information platform expected to help greatly improve local governance efficiency. CETDZ authorities attributed the success of the project to a set of good practices introduced from SIP.

CETDZ started last year to learn experience from SIP for information-based governance, including adopting a smart administration system to make administrative services more easily available to local residents and keep the public well-informed of local affairs.

"In fact, it is not the first time that SIP's such practices are rolled out to other places," said a staffer at SIP Big Data Management Center, revealing that SIP authorities have been endeavoring to improve public services by continuously upgrading local information facilities and widening application of information technologies.
