SIP Social Insurance and Housing Funds Management Center recently finished the pension adjustment, which covers 7,291 enterprise retirees, with an average monthly increase of RMB163.64/person, and 22,916 land-expropriated farmers that enjoy the same welfare, with an average monthly increase of RMB 96.95/person.

People who retired before Dec 31, 2016 will get the increased pension from January, 2017, and those who retired between Jan 1 to Jun 30 will enjoy the increased pension starting form July. The increment consists of the fixed part for people under 70 and the extra part for those over 70.
