The 4thJinji Lake Overseas Investment Service Alliance Forum on cross-border investment as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) was held at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Centre on June 23, attracting about 60 enterprises and service organizations from various industries, such as telecommunications, logistics, new materials and new energy.

Jointly heldby SIP Overseas Investment Promotion Center, SIP Foreign Affairs Office and Shanghai ALLBRIGHT Law Offices, the forumwas aimed at assisting Chinese enterprises to invest and developoverseas. Experts in cross-border financing and investment shared their experiences.

From January to May this year,SIP-based enterprises launched a number of overseas investment projects. The total investment under these projects reached $532 million, up40% year-on-year.

Zhu Xiaoyan, director of SIP Overseas Investment Promotion Center, promised continuous provision of professional services by Jinji Lake Overseas Investment Service Alliance in order to facilitate Chinese enterprises’ overseas investment and development.
