Under the guidance of SIP Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, the SIP Renewable Resources Supervision Center, sub-district offices and community working committees recently launched the pilot program on reform in domestic garbage collection and delivery system in SIP.

More than 400 pilot sites were designated and on-site surveys carried out. Property management companies and related administrative staff joined in the program to promote the reforms by giving a detailed explanation to the citizens of the objectives, plans and service modes under the program.

 Fully-enclosed vehicles are used to take domestic garbage to the transfer station, aimed at eliminating garbage spillage and illegal or random garbage dumping. The reforms will be further improved and extended throughout the whole area in the future.
