Zhou Xudong, deputy secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee and vice director of SIP Administrative Committee, led an official group to inspect workplace safety in four sites on March 17.

He visited the construction site of 310-meter-tall Sun Hung Kai Building (built to be new CBD landmark) on the west of Si'an Street, CPC Hudong Community Working Committee, the fire control room of the community-based 70,000-sqm shopping mall Vanguard Living Mall and the workshop of Daikin Air-conditioning (Suzhou) Co Ltd to inquire about vulnerable spots in workplace safety and make a general inspection to detect potential hazards.

He stressed that workplace safety must be guaranteed all the time, vulnerable spots must be found and rectification must be conducted, and the safety awareness must be further improved.

It is reported that a thorough inspection on workplace safety will go on throughout March to further strengthen safety.
