Meeting to hear voices from foreign-funded enterprises in SIP

Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) leaders held a meeting with representatives from foreign-funded enterprises on January 23 to learn about their current difficulties and their advice on how to increase R&D input in their development.

Representatives from Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Adidas Sports (China) Co., Ltd., Philips Healthcare (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and other 29 foreign-funded enterprises expressed their opinions and suggestions about talent recruitment, enterprise merger and acquisition, schooling for employees' children and so on. They also reported the problems and difficulties in production and business operations, and aired their views on promotion of artificial intelligence industry.

Xu Huimin, member of Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, praised foreign-funded enterprises for their contributions to SIP's development, and pledged that SIP would continue to create a benign investment environment for their better growth. Xu suggested that the enterprises make full use of "Internet+" concept to develop smart manufacturing industry, control cost and improve product quality, thus scaling new heights in development.
