Along with the reform of national business system and the advancement of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", the population of taxpayers in SIP has been expanding quickly in recent years. Up to the end of 2016, the number of SIP's taxpayers (excluding natural person taxpayers) had broken 74,000, up by nearly 16,000 from the year before, or an increase of 27.59%.

In order to provide better services for the rapidly growing taxpayers, SIP Local Tax Bureau will continue to draw on Singapore's advanced tax management experience, push forward the modernization of tax administration so as to further serve taxpayers and the development of local economy.
