At the 15th Suzhou Quality Agri-Products Fair 2016 (SQAPF) that took place in mid-December, SIP Market Supervision Administration (SIPMSA) completed the food safety assurance task in relation to the event's caterer SIP Xinshanfang Fast Food Distribution Center (SIPXFFDC). 

With "green brands and healthy life" as its theme, this year's SQAPF was held in the top venues of Suzhou Int'l Expo Center. Boasting a collection of local, domestic and overseas quality agricultural products and the achievements of modern agriculture development, the event attracted a large number of exhibitors and visitors.

SIPXFFDC was the supplier of box lunches for the event. In order to guarantee catering safety, SIPMSA intervened in advance and carried out overall supervision over the caterer at site from Dec 16 to 18. All the key steps related to food safety, including raw material procurement, storage, cooking process, food safety control, transportation, sample retention, employee health, packing box, etc. were subjected to supervision.

SIPMSA dispatched six law enforcement officers, safeguarded over 1,500 boxes during three lunches, issued one supervision notice, carried out rapid detection of pesticide residues to nine batches of green vegetables (with no positive results), supervised 15 batches of sample retention, and guaranteed zero accident and zero complaint during the event.
