Xu Huimin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, met with a delegation from Value Retail Group (VRG) headed by Leslie Chao, co-founder of VRG, and Mark Israel, CEO of VRG China, Wednesday morning. The two parties talked about the operation of the first phase of Yi'oulai Suzhou Village and the development of the second and third phases. 

Chao made an introduction of Yi'oulai Suzhou Village's resident brands and operation in the first phase. Israel briefed on the construction plan for the second and third phases, and expressed his expectation to cooperate with other large tourism projects in the Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort (YPTR) in a bid to enhance the popularity of the whole resort.

Xu said approvingly of the project's first phase brands and operation, and hoped the following phases would keep up its high level construction and high quality investment promotion so as to make new contribution to SIP's industrial transformation and upgrading.

Xu noted that SIP and YPTR would continue to strengthen its investment promotion and pro-business ideas, and provide support and service for the operation of the first phase and the development of the second and third phases.

Located in the YPTR, Yi'oulai Suzhou Village is VRG's first outlet in China and the 10th one in the world.
