Xu Huimin, member of the standing committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, visited SIP's Loufeng Subdistrict, Weiting Subdistrict, Shengpu Subdistrict, Xietang Subdistrict, and convened inspection meetings Tuesday.

Xu inquired in detail about each subdistrict's achievements in terms of economic development, social governance, urban management, public livelihood and welfare, and gave directions for their future work. 

The contingent visited Tuanjie Community at Loufeng Subdistrict, found out about the community's efforts in grid management platform and community governance system and maintenance. 

Attracted by Loufeng Subdistrict to settle in the area, Octopus Online Tourism Development Co., Ltd. is a B2B online tourism company engaged in a business of inclusive tourism products ranging from domestic short tour, domestic long tour, overseas tour, etc. Xu visited Octopus and inquired in detail about its development advantages, staff number, operation revenue, encouraging the company to keep fostering strategic cooperative enterprises and continue to grow bigger and stronger.

They also visited Qingjianhu Community and SJEC Corporation at Weiting Subdistrict. At Qingjianhu Community, Xu asked and learned about the overall situation in the community and visited its citizen school, one-stop service hall, monitor room, etc.  

SJEC Corporation is a multinational group whose product lines include elevator, escalator, space formula garage equipment, precision casting, etc. Xu visited SJEC and asked about its output value, corporate culture, products, transformation and upgrading. He also went to its production line to learn about its workflow.

After that, Xu went to Enterprise Land Repurchase Office and Binjiangyuan Community in Shengpu Subdistrict. He spoke positively of the community's relocation work, adding that the repurchase of enterprise land is a sunny and clean relocation project, and its experience should be summed up and disseminated. 

At Binjiangyuan Community, Xu visited the community's disaster prevention and mitigation experience hall, party member activity room, etc. He noted that relocation housing should be constantly improved, apartment layout should be fit for the elderly; the combination of medical resources and aged care resources, and home-based aged care should be pushed forward.

Located in Xietang Subdistrict, Dushu Alliance (DA) is China's first regional elite league initiated by independent-innovation medical instrument enterprises, covering multiple sectors like hospital information intelligent system, imaging equipment, treatment equipment, and so on. Xu visited DA's exhibition hall and intelligent pharmacy, and listened to the introduction about product equipment. Xu approved of DA's endeavor to advance the development of medical instrument industry. He said that DA's joint innovation is a new industrial format and that DA should keep up effort and make independently innovated high-tech products affordable for ordinary people.

Developed by SIPURD, Dongfang Wenhuiyuan is a key relocation project of the urban renewal program in the old Chefang Town. Xu inquired in detail about the relocation work at Wenhuiyuan, visited the community one-stop service center, senior citizen service center, community health service station, etc.

At the following inspection meeting, Xu pointed out that it's an inevitable trend to replace town with subdistrict; every subdistrict should go on unswervingly to improve its systems, enhance social governance capability and level, and actively explore new management mechanisms after subdistrict takes the place of town.
