On the morning of August 4, Wang Xiang, Member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee, led a group of officials to survey the work progress of SIP community Party working committees.

At Wendeju of Orchard Manors Neighborhood Committee under the leadership of Huxi Community Party Working Committee, Wang asked about the resident population, structure, and the status of the Party building there, and pointed out that the community Party working committee should always bear the interests of the people in mind and serve them wholeheartedly, and build an effective platform in areas of heavy concentration of talents so as to give more people opportunity to play their parts.

Wang Xiang and the group then visited the showroom on the current study campaign and the vanguard station at Dongshahu Community Party Working Committee, and gained detailed information about the community service and the Party building at basic level.

In the Diwu Yuansu Neighborhood Committee under Hudong Community Party Working Committee, the SIP leaders's survey focused on the residents' autonomy, community cultural undertaking, and Party organizational work at grassroots levels, and also the practice of "new neighbor + exchange of credit scores". Wang Xiang praised and thanked the "5s repair team" for its volunteer service for the residents within the community.

At the following work briefing, Wang Xiang asked the community Party working committees to put strict requirements on themselves in serving the people to the people-oriented development and governance concept, to improve work mechanism and strengthen basic work, and to actively explore new ways of social governance and spread good experience to other areas of SIP.
