On June 3, Wang Xiang, Standing Committee Member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee, led a team to Suqian to survey the development of Suzhou-Suqian Industrial Park (SSIP), and to visit the Suzhou cadres working in SSIP.

Shen Haibin, Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General of CPC Suqian Municipal Committee, and Secretary of Yanghe New District Party Committee, welcomed Wang Xiang's group on behalf of Suqian Municipal Party Committee and Government. He pointed out that SSIP is the most important cooperation project of Suzhou and Suqian, and hoped that SIP would continue to support Suqian in terms of industrial transfer and social administration and expressed high appreciation for the long-term care and support of SIP.

Wang Xiang said that he was impressed by the new achievements of Suqian and SSIP as well as the new city appearance in this visit. Especially under the increasing economic downward pressure in recent years, SSIP still manages to secure a good result and maintain a favorable growth. He emphasized that these are attributed to the firm leadership and strong support of Suqian Municipal Party Committee and Government, as well as the cooperation and endeavors of SSIP on the whole. Wang Xiang promised that SIP would continue to assist SSIP in its development, facilitate key projects to settle in Suqian, and further enhance the development of SSIP to contribute more to the future growth of Suqian City.
