On the morning of April 5, Suzhou Industrial Park Safe Production Committee held a plenary meeting (enlarged) at Modern Building to review and sum up the work in the past year and to assign tasks for the year 2016.

By upholding scientific outlook on development and accelerating the transformation of economic growth mode in the past year, SIP units at all levels conscientiously implemented the corporate responsibility of production safety by setting up a "red line" and maintaining a strict "bottom line", checked on and guarded against potential hazards in production, and carried out special rectification campaigns, and thus ensured a stable situation in production safety in all areas of work.

In the starting year of "the 13th 5-year plan", it is imperative to ensure safe production so as to create a safe environment for economic and social progress. SIP will keep a firm hold on the development strategy based on safe production and implement the "equal responsibility for Party and administrative organizations and strict accountability for failure", especially in major enterprises, and strengthen production safety law enforcement. Blows will be dealt against law-breaking behaviors and breach of statutory regulations on safe production. Coordinated and innovative measures of safe production will be introduced to curb the occurrences of major accidents, and the supervisory system will be improved to put the corporate responsibility system in place and ensure sustained stable situation of safe production in SIP.
