During the period from late July to August 31, Suzhou Industrial Park organized extensive visits to 790 large-scale industrial enterprises, under the slogan of "deepening pro-business service in support of enterprises' development", by all the leading members of CPC SIP Working Committee and SIP Administrative Committee, and the leaders of SIP bureaus and offices, and sub-districts.

According to incomplete statistics, 919 suggestions and comments were collected from 526 enterprises during the visits, and among them, 110 were immediately responded to and solved on the spot and 809 were filed up for later solutions. After the sorting of these problems and suggestions, which mainly concerned 11 departments, 5 functional areas and four corporations, 217 were found to be of frequent occurrences, such as "disposal of hazardous materials", "high labor cost", "difficulty in recruiting employees", "too few public bus routes", "difficulty for employees' children to go to schools", "undue restrictions on overtime work", "inappropriate proportion of outsourcing labor", "insufficient parking lots", and "the complicated application for hi-tech enterprises". Besides, there are 592 comments and suggestions of specific and personalized natures.

A recent notification from the offices of CPC SIP Working Committee and SIP Administrative Committee clarified the ways of solving the problems by classified categories, that is, under the general guideline to be worked out by CPC SIP Working Committee and SIP Administrative Committee, rectifications are to be carried out by relevant departments through coordination, and those problems hard to solve should be submitted to higher organs for specific deliberation.
