SIP Leaders Inspect Production Safety in R&D and Manufacturing Enterprises

On August 17, Yu Caigen, Member of CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee, led an inspection group of chiefs of SIP Work Safety Supervision Bureau, Administrative Committee of Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation District, SIP Police Sub-bureau, SIP Fire Brigade, SIP Bio-tech Development Co., Ltd. and Nanopolis Suzhou Co., Ltd., visited part of R&D and manufacturing enterprises at bioBAY and Nanoplis to inspect their production safety work.

The group visited HOB Biotech, InTec Products (Suzhou), Suzhou Hanna Materials Technology, and Tianlong Tech, and in each place, they examined the R&D lab, hazardous chemical substance storage site and hazardous waste storage site, and enquired into the safe production management system. Yu Caigen stressed that each enterprise should further put into practice the main responsibility of corporate entity, strengthen the risk awareness, and standardize the usage, storage and management of hazardous chemicals to ensure safety at all times. Yu urged all the leaders of the carriers, like bioBAY and Nanopolis Suzhou, to fully carry out safety responsibility, enhance supervision and conduct a general inspection on all the enterprises in the carriers to curb accident occurrence.
