At the commemoration meeting on the 94th birthday of the Communist Party of China (CPC), CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee organized young Party cadres in discussion to exchange their experience in work and to discuss their plans for the new round of development and construction of SIP.

Speaking at the meeting, Wang Xiang, Standing Committee Member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, made a high appraisal of the achievements of the hardworking and aspiring young SIP cadres in their posts and pointed out that the contingent of SIP young cadres is a team of educated youth full of vigor and vitality, a promising team with firm political orientation and great potentials. He also pointed out that some of the young cadres were lacking in working practice at grassroots levels and in theoretical study, and therefore they should improve their ability of dealing with complex situations through study and practice.

Wang Xiang raised five points of requirements for the young Party cadres: to be firm in their ideological belief, in observing the Party's political discipline, and in active working practice, to strive to be pacesetters and supporters in reform and innovation, to be devoted to the service of the people and build a good profile in SIP's pro-business promotions, to be pragmatic in all fields of work and self-conscious in implementing the "three stricts and three honests" code of conduct, and to be models in law-abiding and honest administration with moral integrity.
