Municipal Leaders Bring Season's Greetings to Needy Families

Secretary Ma Minglong of Suzhou Industrial Park CPC Working Committee, Vice Mayor Pu Ronggao, and Vice Chairman Jin Hailong of Municipal Political Consultative Conference visited some special families at Weiting Town, No. 2 Community of Qingjian Lake, and a nursing home on January 16, sending season's greetings and gifts to these socially disadvantaged groups.

Forty-one-year-old Zhao Meizhen living at Weiting Town faces financial difficulties due to an accident fall. She told the local leaders that it was difficult for the part-time salary of her husband to cover her medical bill and the college education of her son. Secretary Ma promised to her that the government would help them through these difficulties.

Twenty residents of Weiting Nursing Home received from the visiting officials cash, gifts, and the best wishes for the coming Year of the Dragon.
