eMEXSuzhou China 2019 opened in SIP on Nov 6, and will last till Nov 8. The event encompasses a series of forums and workshops to give a holistic picture of the latest outcomes in such fields as semiconductors, smart manufacturing, robots, 5G, Internet of Things, industrial Internet and new retail (a strategy of fusing on- and off-line retail services).

It is reportedly the 18th straight year that eMEXSuzhou China takes place in Suzhou. After years of development and improvement, it has become one of the country’s most important networking and partnering events for electronic information technology developers and related business operators. The previous sessions recorded over 5,000 enterprise exhibitors and more than 800,000 visitors in total.

At the same time, eMEXSuzhou China has helped drive an electronic information boom in Suzhou. Statistics show that the city last year saw an output value of RMB 1.2 trillion in electronic information industry, which accounted for nearly 10% of the national total and 30.9% of the total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Suzhou. Besides, advanced information technologies have been widely used in manufacturing and other fields to help improve productivity and accelerate industrial restructuring.
