Over 60 people from around Suzhou attended a meeting at SANGHA Retreat in SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) on Sept 10 when they shared ideas on making short videos to depict SIP’s tourist attractions highly sought after by netizens.

It is learnt that the participants will soon start to make videos of the attractions they choose and post them on TikTok, WeChat and other new media platforms, and the best attractions will be announced in October and the video makers will receive awards.

The event is a part of a program that the Publicity Department of CPC SIP Working Committee and Suzhou New Media League are jointly pushing on to encourage new media content including text, pictures, videos and creative designs to showcase SIP’s development achievements.

After the meeting, the participants experienced meditation and Pilates at SANGHA Retreat, and acquired a holistic picture of YLPTR’s characteristics as a national tourist resort.
