PIA Automation (Suzhou) Co Ltd, a branch of PIA Automation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China’s leading auto parts manufacturer JOYSON Holding, came into operation in SIP on July 3. Based on an about-6,000-square-meter plant, it is dedicated to developing, manufacturing and marketing automatic equipment and robots for industrial purposes.

 

Both PIA Automation and its parent company are located in Ningbo, a city in East China’s Zhejiang province. PIA Automation provides highly-efficient automated assembly and test systems along with industry-leading system integration services to global clients in auto manufacturing, electronics, medical care and other sectors.

 

According to Xie Shilai, president for China operations at PIA Automation, the new branch will focus on auto parts, consumer products and medical devices to seek more achievements in automation.
