The news briefing on June 12 unveiled more details about Suzhou Open which, the seventh leg of the PGA Tour Series-China, is scheduled at SIP’s Jinji Lake Golf Club from June 13 to 16.

PGA Tour Series-China is a China-based men’s professional golf tour as one of the annual series of tournaments organized by PGA Tour, a non-profit US organization. The tour started in the country in 2014, and after a hiatus in 2017, resumed last year.

It is reported that 156 professional golfers from more than 20 countries and regions will compete in the event. The champion will have chances to receive money award of RMB 288,000, part of a total of RMB 1.6 million for the event winners, and six points for world ranking.

Moreover, the event will be coupled with a pro-am and a challenge which are open to the Jinji Lake Golf Club members, and a youngsters’ golf match and other events to give local youngsters chances to experience the sport.
