Jointly sponsored by SIP Science, Technology and Information Office and Asia America Multi-Technology Association (AAMA), the 2018 Suzhou Spring Innovation Summit (SSIS) cum Cradle Plan Launching Ceremony was held in SIP on May 6. Over 300 professionals from the business and technology circles and startup representatives were present.

AAMA, a non-profit technology association founded in Silicon Valley in 1979, has been dedicated to accelerating ideas and best-in-class collaboration that can lead to successful business ventures in Silicon Valley and the Asia-Pacific region. It has hosted a series of training camps, forums and promotions in SIP over the past few years, with the purpose of rendering local startups assistance in their development.

At the summit, the participants held discussions on innovation and business launch under the current circumstances, and several of them shared their opinions on how to start and run new businesses in their keynote speeches.

Apart from that, SIP and AAMA jointly announced to set up a cooperation fund and launch the Cradle Plan, an entrepreneur training program designed to help young local startup founders and their enterprises seek a fast growth.
