SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ) hosted a ceremony on Apr 10, when Delphi, Magna, Greenland, PKU Founder and several other companies from the sectors of high-end manufacturing, R&D, international trade and biomedicine signed agreements to generate 10 projects such as R&D and operation centers in SIP-HMITZ, with a total investment of RMB 5 billion.

"We are lured by SIP-HMITZ's location advantage, preferential policies and pro-business services, and we will move our most important operations into the zone," said Xue Yingjie, chairman and GM of Greenland, a Shanghai-based real estate company intending to invest RMB 800 million to build an import operation center in SIP-HMITZ.

"The projects are expected to greatly facilitate the industrial transformation and upgrading here by forming a business ecosystem consisting of manufacturing, research, marketing and services," said Zhao Zhen, director of SIP-HMITZ Industrial Development Office.
