The 2018 (21st) Suzhou International Tourism Festival (SITF) kicked off at Suzhou International Expo Centre, SIP on Apr 5, bringing about a dizzying number of tourism products and activities to the citizens and tourists.

SITF, an annual event initiated by Jiangsu Tourism Administration and Suzhou People's Government in 2007, serves as a good platform to showcase the time-honored local culture. It is no exception this year, since various events for the purpose have been scheduled and will last till the end of the year.

At the opening ceremony, two sets of elaborately designed tourist routes made their debut to offer tourists a holistic picture of the ancient and modern Suzhou city. Additionally, information on the 2018 Suzhou Water Tourism Week was released, and the 2018 Excellent Tourism Events Evaluation started.

The three-day Travel Suzhou 2018 tourism exhibition opened on the same day. A helicopter from SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort and a tour bus from a local tourist service supplier became eye-catchers.
