Smith & Nephew, a multinational medical device manufacturer headquartered in London, held an opening ceremony on April 24 for its phase-two complex in Suzhou Industrial Park. The expansion construction doubles the plant area and the production capacity. The management believes the new plant will satisfy the increasing demand in Chinese and world markets for wound dressings and other care products.
