At the official meeting held on the afternoon of February 17 in Suzhou Industrial Park, Secretary Jiang Hongkun of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee made a keynote speech, urging SIP to lead in emancipating the mind, realizing transformation, and promoting city construction, and to make more contributions to build Suzhou into a pilot area featuring Scientific Outlook, innovation, and integrated urban and rural development as well as a city with high-end industries, beautiful ecological environment, and integrating historical culture and modern civilization. SIP authorities plan to make breakthrough improvements of livelihood in 2013 and announced to build a Grade-3 public general hospital and public health centers this year.
