  On SIP's 10th anniversary celebration, President Hu Jintao expressed to Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew his wish that China and Singapore shall draw on SIP's successful experience and apply it to new fields of bilateral cooperation. Both countries shall strive to enhance results and improve the level of mutual co-operation. 

  "After ten years, development, SIP is not only the most competitive industrial park in Asia, but also a successful model of China-Singapore cooperation" (Premier Wen Jiabao)

  The Prime Minister of UK Tony Blair complimented SIP as a "bold and successful attempt".

 Arthur Van Der Poel, former President and CEO of Philips Semiconductor, selected SIP for its new factory premise by reason of its wide selection of potential employees as well as well-developed technology and logistics facilities.
