As a new form of community service network, the Neighborhood Center integrates the functions of commerce, healthcare, culture and entertainment that closely relates to the daily lives of nearby residents. Facilities such as the International Expo Center, Science, Culture & Art Center, five-star hotel, large supermarkets, Golf & Leisure Center, Xinhai Swimming PooL, Commercial Street in the Arts & Entertainment Village, provide investors and residents ideal places for business, entertainment, leisure, food & beverage and shopping.

    

The development of SIP emphasizes "Human-oriented"  philosophy, to achieve economic development,   technology improvement with the harmony and integration of human beings and nature.   So far, with the completion of major landscaping projects, such as the Modern Avenue, Lakeside Walk, City Square,   Camphor Garden and Maple Garden, and the construction of Baitang and Shahu Ecological Park,   Jinji Lake area is becoming a popular leisure and recreation location for local residents, investors and others.

SIP has a greenery ratio that exceeds 40 per cent and has achieved the ISO 14001 for environment management standard.

    

Disease Control & Prevention Center, Neighborhood Center Clinic, Xinghai Clinic,  Singapore Healthcare Clinic and the SIP First-Aid center provide employees and residents with epidemic prevention, health examination, medical treatment and First-Aid services.  The foreign hospital is currently under construction.

Kindergartens, primary schools and high schools are built according to Jiangsu's standard of modernization  and offer children the best education environment. Suzhou Singapore International School has become a learning and living paradise for expatriate children.

SIP Institute of Vocational Technology has become the cradle for high-level technicians of high tech companies.

The startup phase of the Dushu Lake High Education District  is mostly completed.  Presently,  China Science and Technology University, Beijing University, People's University, Xi'an Jiaotong University,   Nanjing University, Suzhou University and Ireland Limerick University and University of   Warwick of England have signed the agreements to launch the postgraduate projects in the town.
