Centec Networks (Suzhou) Wins the Most Potential Ethernet Switching Chip Award

At the Awarding Ceremony of 2010 China Integrated Circuit Promotion Conference cum the 5th China Chip and the 10th China Chip Anniversary on December 23 in Tianjin, the CTC6048-Humber, the first high-performance 100bps telecommunication-carrier Ethernet switch chip in China made by Centec Networks (Suzhou), won the Most Potential Product Award as one of the ten winners of the special honor.

Centec was founded in 2005 by returned Chinese scientists from Silicon Valley with the investment from SIP Venture Capital, and the award-winning product is the second generation of the company's proprietary 100Gbps Ethernet routing switch chip designed to help communication and telecom equipment manufacturers and domestic and overseas companies to create high-performance network infrastructure and bring down the construction, operation, and maintenance costs for mobile and broadband service providers.
