SIP International Commodities Exhibition Center Gives Presentation in the US
On December 9, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) International Commodities Exhibition Center located in SIP Integrated Free Trade Zone held an investment seminar at the HQ of Longistics, a full-service provider of global logistics solutions based in US North Carolina. NC Governor Bev Perdue, NC Secretary of Commerce Keith Crisco, NC Senator Floyd McKissick, and the representatives of over 70 American companies attended the event.
Located in the east of Suzhou Logistics Center (SeAll) and with interior decoration completed, the Center is to open for business in March 2011. To provide better services to the exhibitors, Longistics has registered an import & export trade company at SIP Integrated Free Trade Zone.
Longistics plans to use its network and channels in the US to introduce the popular commodities in North Carolina to Chinese consumers, including high-end furniture, agricultural produce, health-care food, medical equipments, and bio-tech products. The Center will create opportunities to facilitate and accelerate the export from North Carolina and the plan of Longistics is to add 50 companies at the Center next year and another 500 companies in five years.
