SIP to Promote Second Wave of Business Growth with Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs
At Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Christmas & New Year Gala in Suzhou Science & Cultural Arts Center on the evening of December 18, hundreds of Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs celebrated the festival while enjoying the graceful original Chinese-style ballet Romeo and Juliet.
"The year 2010 is extraordinary, during which all walks of life in SIP adhered to the Scientific Outlook on Development, and continually deepened transformation and upgrading and second wave of business growth to meet the major economic targets in accordance with time sequence, and innovative and service economies developed rapidly and economic and social development maintained a good and fast growth momentum," said Yang Zhiping, Director of SIPAC.
It's worth mentioning that SIP has made noticeable progresses in transformation and development in 2010. For example, investment structure is more rational and highlights are more outstanding, construction of office buildings is in full swing, situation of investment promotion is inspiring that contents of programs have fundamental changes and quality and quantity increase neck by neck, numerous Asia-Pacific financial settlement centers have entered SIP, and more than 20 foreign-funded enterprises have set up their R&D centers recognized by Jiangsu Province in SIP, investment promotion of CBD, sci-technology and new-emerging industries have made good achievements, 500 sci-tech programs are estimated to enter SIP this year, and so on.
Looking forward to the future, Yang Zhiping said that SIP would push forward the second wave of growth at a higher level in 2011, the prime development time during the 12th Five-Year (from 2011-2015), and would continuously join hands with enterprises in SIP to harvest more abundant fruits of cooperation.
