Transcosmos BPO China Holds Opening Ceremony in SIP
Transcosmos BPO China invested by Transcosmos, a leading Japanese business process outsourcing and interactive customer service provider, held an opening ceremony on December 15 and became a new member of the service outsourcing sector in Suzhou Industrial Park.
Founded in April with registered capital of 200 million yuan, Transcosmos BPO China offers extensive services in data processing, enterprise management and IT consultancy, computer system development, and technical support. It also plans to introduce call center after its current businesses takes a firm stand. The company is believed to contribute to the growth of BPO in SIP.
Transcosmos started to explore the business opportunities in Chinese mainland in 1995 and, with the support of SIP government, Transcosmos Information Creative opened a subsidiary and a branch in SIP. According to the statistics, 20% companies in Japan are employing the services from the promising market of BPO, and the company is to increase the number of employees at Transcosmos BPO China from 30 to 500 in three years.
