Bank of Shanghai Opens Suzhou Branch
On December 16, Bank of Shanghai officially opened its Suzhou branch in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) following its branches in Ningbo, Nanjing and Hangzhou, as another important business layout in the Yangtze Delta region.
By taking full advantage of its own operating characteristics, Bank of Shanghai Suzhou Branch will give strong backup to the development of Suzhou's predominant industrial and major construction projects, fuel up strategic transformation of Suzhou's industrial structure, serve Suzhou's economic development, provide professional financial services for Suzhou's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and supply quality financial products for Suzhou citizens.
On the opening ceremony, Bank of Shanghai Suzhou Branch signed cooperation agreements respectively with Taiwan Affairs Office of Suzhou Municipality, Suzhou SMEs Bureau, SIP State-control Development, and etc, with the intent to offer 15 billion RMB credit. In addition, the Branch will donate the setting-up cost savings to "Young Volunteers' Undertakings Development Fund" of Suzhou Municipal Youth League Committee to support volunteers.
