New Generation of Hydrogen Fueled City Bus Made in Suzhou

 

On the 29th December, the new generation of hydrogen fuel cell city bus, jointly developed by Konglong United Automobile Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua University, went off production line, representing a new breakthrough in the R&D of Energy Saving & New Energy Automobile Project, listed as a key project in the national No. 863 program of China's 11th Five-Year plan.

 

 

This new generation of hydrogen fuel cell city bus is novel for its core technology. The technology differs from the international authorities in this field by bravely developing two unique fuel cell hybrid systems namely energy hybrid and power hybrid. This new generation of hydrogen fuel cell city bus off the production line has already reached commercial operation standard.

This hydrogen fueled low-chassis city bus is equipped with 80Kw fuel cell engine system which allows a top speed of 85km/h and over 400km of mileage with zero exhaust emission, free of pollution and any chemicals causing greenhouse effect.
