The 4th China Game Industry Annual Conference Soon to Convene in Suzhou
About a year after the successful convening of the 3rd China Game Industry Annual Conference, held in early January in Chengdu, the 4th conference is being prepared for the coming January in the ancient city of Suzhou.
The annual conference is a grand gathering of game industry and summit exchange of ideas and concepts among game enterprises in China, organized by National Administration of News Publications and attended by over a thousand game enterprises and official from Publicity Department of CPC, Ministry of Information Industry, and China Information Industry Development Research Institute.
The forthcoming annual conference, at which in-depth discussions will be held on the extension of games and user concepts, and cooperation among the Mainland, HK, and Taiwan, will be organized by China Publishers' Association under the support of National Administration of News and Publications, National Copyright Bureau, and Ministry of Information Industry, with preparatory work entrusted to Game Working Committee of China Publishers' Association, the "Digital Times" journal, and SIP Administrative Committee.
The 3-day event will consist of the annual sessions, thematic forums, summit forums, and evaluation and conferring of awards, held in the various forms of lectures, round-table forums, and interactive games.
The annual conference is an occasion for publicity campaigns, in which will be involved about 90 mass media, such as the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, Guangming Daily, and Economic Daily, etc., and some 60 online media like Sina, Netease, and government websites, etc. It is predicted to be a grand congregation and exchange meeting of unprecedented scale for China's game industry.
