US International Outsourcing Delegation Seeks Partnership in SIP
As the only demonstration park for outsourced service in China, Suzhou Industrial Park is capturing more and more attention of the world's outsourcing enterprises. At the invitation of SIP Outsourcing Association and with the coordination of Beijing Sibo Consultancy Co., an international outsourcing delegation from USA made a 2-day visit to SIP from Dec. 9 to 10 to seek cooperation partners in outsourced service.
The American delegation attended "SIP Forum on Outsourced Service" on Dec. 9 along with outsourcing enterprises in SIP. The members of the American delegation came from 20-odd prestigious companies including Sprint, InnovVest Group, and Supreme software, a fact that shows the high regard the multinational corporations held for SIP's outsourcing industry. The members of the delegation released information on cooperation intent at the forum, and Mr. Tang Jie, Chairman of SIP Outsourcing Association, and representatives of SIP software enterprises briefed the delegation on the development of outsourced service in SIP.
The American delegation was favorably impressed with the environment and fast growth of outsourced service industry in SIP in the mutual exchange, and some members reached initial cooperation intent with SIP enterprises while others expressed interest to make further surveys in SIP.
SIP has been in recent years responding actively to the opportunities of global outsourcing service, and has involved in ITO, BPO and other international services in an attempt to speed up opening up and the transformation of regional economic growth. The export-oriented outsourced service is expected to exceed 150 million US dollars in 2007, with an annual growth rate of 80%.
During its stay in SIP, the American delegation visited Suzhou International Science Park, China-Singapore Science Hub, and Dushu Lake Higher Education Town, and attended the banquet hosted by Mr. Gu Yukun, Vice-chairman of Sipac.
