China Water Expo Shifted to Suzhou
China Water Exposition, known as one the five major expositions in China, is now shifted to Suzhou. 2007 China Water Expo, a gathering of the frontline water conservancy technology and products of the world, will be unfolded at Suzhou International Expo Center from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3. The Water Conservancy Summit Forum will be held during the show.
The exposition is jointly sponsored by China Water Conservancy Society and Suzhou Municipal Government. According to the organizing committee, participants will include 13 countries and regions, such as USA, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Japan, and Canada. The exhibitors will bring their advanced piping and valve equipment, monitoring instruments, and equipment for water conservation and waterway repair to the exhibition. One of the sections is dedicated to water culture to illustrate the canal culture of the various dynastic times from Sui, Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, to the Ming and Qing periods.
The water expo is held for the first time in Suzhou instead of the permanent venue in Beijing.
