SIP Participates in the 6th Yew York International Outsourcing Exhibition
After the successful forum on "SIP Outsourced Service and Technological Cooperation" in Boston, SIP delegation, along with 5 major SIP outsourced service enterprises, attended the 6th New York Outsourcing Exhibition held on Oct. 24 at Jacob Javits Convention Center, Manhattan, YK City.
At the opening ceremony, Ma Minglong, Chairman of Sipac, delivered a speech entitled "From Outsourced Manufacturing to Outsourced Service", which highlighted the industrial transformation in Suzhou Industrial Park and the goal to build a demonstration base for international outsourced service. Fei Shaoyun, Vice-director of Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Foreign Economic and Trade, also spoke at the ceremony with special emphasis on the unique preferential policies accorded to SIP on outsourced service.
At the session, many internationally known outsourced service enterprises expressed intent to make on-spot surveys in SIP in the near future. The chairman of Outsourc World, sponsor of the exhibition, had a meeting with Mr. Ma Minglong and had exchange of views and reached consensus on cooperation in outsourced service in SIP. NCS Suzhou, at the invitation of the hosts, gave a talk on "Focus on AME market" at the session.
New York International Outsourcing Exhibition is a specialized outsourced software exhibition in USA and the largest and most influential international event in the global outsourced software industry, generally regarded as a trend pointer of the American outsourced software market. Over 200 outsourcing software enterprises, including IBM and Microsoft, attended the exhibition, and much publicity of the event was made by mainstream media like Fortune Magazine, NY Business Weekly, and London Times, etc. Through participation in the exhibition, SIP built close ties with the American software industry and media and boosted the influence of SIP outsourced service industry, which will promote future technological exchanges and cooperation between SIP outsourcing enterprises and their major customers in USA.
