2007 China Computer Forum to Be Held in Suzhou
2007 China Computer Forum is now scheduled to convene on Oct. 18 – 20 in Suzhou as a backup event of the 6th eMEX. The convention will be jointly organized by China Computer Society and Suzhou Municipal People's Government with Mayor Yan Li and Li Guojie, Secretary-general of China Computer Society, as co-chairmen, and Xu Shangping, Deputy Mayor of Suzhou as chairman of the organizing committee. Suzhou Science Association will take charge of the preparations under the instruction of China Computer Society.
On Sept. 17, the municipal government held a coordination meeting for the forum, at which Xu Shangping, Member of China Engineering Academy and Deputy of Suzhou, made an important speech.
The meeting reviewed the work report on preparations and assigned tasks for the next stage of preparation. Xu pointed out that the forum was an academic conference of the highest grade and the largest scale in the scientific and technological field of China, as well as an occasion for interactive exchanges between computer industry with local enterprises. He required that the opening ceremony and CCF reception be well organized to present the food profile of Suzhou, and that resources be fully utilized to achieve interactive communication among the enterprises and security be fully guaranteed.
