Large Bas-relief to Appear by Dushu Lake
The eye-catching project of Dushu Lake Tunnel is smoothly approaching its completion, with decoration engineering going on as the finishing touch. At the approach of the tunnel, a large-scale stone-carved bas-relief, panoramically depicting the brilliant successes of SIP in the past dozen year, is being set in the walls of the open approach of the tunnel.
The gigantic bas-relief, measuring over 900 square meters in total area, is a splendid piece of artifact rarely seen in the country. Truthful description and artistic exaggeration are alternately employed to present special scenes of SIP in multi-layers. The installation of the artwork is expected to complete by the end of September, and a special landscape will be added to the picturesque Dushu Lake by then.
