Eaton to Build New Plant in SIP
The multi-polar industrial manufacturer, Eaton Corporation, announced on June 12 that, in expanding the business of Eaton China Electrical Group, a 15,000-square-meter production base was to be added to Eaton Electrical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in SIP, and the site was already decided upon. The new plant will go into operation by July next year.
Eaton Electrical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eaton Electrical Group of Eaton Corporation, and a US$25 million project with R&D center for production of electrical components switch consoles and control products. The newly planned plant will enable Eaton to double its production capacity in Suzhou and reinforce the development and research capabilities in the field of low and medium-voltage electrical components, systems and solutions.
