Fortune-500 Avery Dennison Suzhou Plant Goes into Operation
The new plant invested by Avery Dennison Corporation, a Fortune-500 enterprise in USA, went into operation on May 15 in SIP. The facility occupies a land area of 100,000m2, and the first phase investment amounted to USD 15 million.
The Retail & Information Service (RIS) of Avery Dennison entered China as early as 1994 by setting up plants and sales offices in Nansha, Qingdao, Fuzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai. The sales network soon spread across the country.
In fast business growth, RIS established Avery Dennison (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in SIP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Avery Dennison, which mainly produces logos, commodity labels, garment labels, woven trademarks, adhesive bar codes, paper packaging, etc. Clients of Avery Dennison are mostly internationally-known companies, such as Wal Mart, H&M, Disneyland (HK), Kmart, etc.
