Wang Jinhua Meets Microsoft Global Vice-president
Wang Jinhua, Deputy Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, met Microsoft delegation led by Mr. Daniel Lewin, Global Vice-president of Microsoft Corporation, on April 10.
The relation of cooperation between Microsoft and SIP is going in depth. Back in June 2005, Suzhou Software Testing Center and Microsoft had established an allied lab to take charge of the release of new Microsoft products and training programs. Last October, the two sides signed a MOU on the launching of the first SaaS project in China. Earlier in January, Microsoft and Suzhou Software Park signed an agreement on joint organization of the second Microsoft NET Club in Jiangsu Province. Through these in-depth cooperation, Suzhou gains the position to introduce the latest patented technologies from Microsoft.
During the meeting, Wang Jinhua expresses satisfaction over the smooth cooperation and growing friendship between Suzhou and Microsoft, and says that such cooperation shows the great potential in Suzhou’s software industry. He tells the guests that Suzhou’s advantageous policies and innovative capacity are a spur on the development of software industry, and he hopes that Microsoft will continue to provide technological support for the fostering of software enterprises and the construction of public service platforms in Suzhou.
Mr. Lewin says that Microsoft has always attached great importance on cooperation with Suzhou, and that it is the right time to expand its software services in this highly open city on the southeast coast. He says his current visit to Suzhou is the first of many in the future.
