SIP-AEFI Gives Presentation on Bonded Logistics
SIP Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (SIP-AEFI) organized a presentation on bonded logistics on March 29 in Modern Auditorium, at which leaders of Suzhou Logistic Center and SIP Customs Administration explained to representatives from over 170 SIP enterprises the logistic services and relevant policies concerning the future comprehensive SIP bonded zone.
Lu Zhigang, General Manager of Suzhou Logistic Center Co., Ltd., gave a detailed account of the geographical position, functions, ways of customs clearance, and the newly opened service items in trading, repair, and exhibition, and the preferential policies in attracting trading companies into the zone. Customs officials at the meeting also introduced the simplified entry and exit control of goods, and the future experimentation in customs clearance mode with better efficiency.
The comprehensive SIP bonded zone is currently under smooth construction, and it is expected to operate in the July 2007 as a major experimental bonded logistic operation in China.
